We have been working with Brad and Hearthstone for around 10 years. Our company does the landscape design and installation around the beautiful pools that Hearthstone creates. When I am recommending Hearthstone to potential customers, I tell them that the vision and expertise that Brad brings to the table in un-matched in the industry. The pool designs that he creates are breathtaking and ambitious. He often exceeds the expectation of the client with the finished product. Working with multiple other pool contractors over the years, I see many other simple designs, or poorly thought-out spaces. This is not the case when you use Hearthstone. If you want a pool or outdoor space that is beautiful, functional, and/ or amazing, I would recommend Hearthstone for your project.

They paid very close to details and the owner frequently made visited our property to ensure that everything was being done properly and with the quality that we expected. Starting with Brad’s interview with us to learn what we wanted all the way through his custom design and build we were informed and impressed with his design selections and incorporating the natural environment of our backyard. We continue to enjoy our backyard “Resort” pool complete with rock features, grotto and waterfall along with our outdoor kitchen area.

Brad and his team of skilled craftsmen created an incredible water feature for a very high end exterior Outdoor Living display for PMC Building Materials. This interactive display was needing some type of focal point water feature, but we had limited space. Brad came in and designed a waterfall that was perfect for the space! He and his teams conceptual skills are very impressive and his skilled craftsmen were able transfer the concept to reality, creating a water feature that tied our entire Outdoor Living interactive display together! The display area flows perfectly from one space to the next now and is aesthetically perfect.

Hearthstone built an AMAZING pool for us. Because of the size/challenge of our project, we interviewed 5 pool builders. Brad (Renken) not only designed the perfect pool for our location, he was flexible with some changes and most importantly on budget. First time visitors ask us if we were on the TV show Insane Pools and I say nope, we used Hearthstone Luxury Pools.

It really was a collaborative effort throughout the process and his design skills are second to none. He also connected us with Ryan @ Planet Earth Designs (who I also highly recommend) to complete the landscaping portion of the project.
Any issues we encountered along the way, which there inevitably will be with a project of this magnitude, Brad worked directly with us to resolve. As the project progressed, we had several additions beyond the original agreement including adding a fire pit to match the spa. Brad accommodated every request. I’m so grateful to Brad and Hearthstone Luxury Pools for creating such a beautiful space for our family to make memories for years to come.

As a designer, Brad has incredible vision, and is not afraid to come up with ambitious designs, then execute them in the field. Some of the pool we have gotten to work on were truly mind-blowing. My company has also worked with multiple other pool contractors over the past decade, and I see them lean towards conservative designs and simple builds, often missing the potential for a truly amazing space. If you want a pool area that is well thought-out that presents beautifully, I would recommend using Hearthstone for your project!

This pool company was one of the only contractors that listened to us in what we wanted. We had several even say they could not put a pool in our small yard, and never any tried. Brad and his company did a fantastic job, put in a 12,000 gal pool, so not a small one. And gave us a beautiful back yard. His subs also did a fantastic job making sure all was picked up and cleaned. This was not an easy pool to put in, but Brad did it and took care of all problems that usually occur with any construction. I would recommend him to anyone wanting to enhance their personal space and hire Brad.

We recently contacted Brad to prepare a design for a jewel box pool. The back yard in our recently purchased home is tiny, and construction access is very limited. Brad was very creative in creating two design options to maximize the use of the space and keep costs in control. He was very clear, professional, and timely in the preparation of the proposals and listened closely to our input. We had quotes from two other well-known pool companies and Brad’s quote was the best. Pools are not inexpensive to add to a home, and are in high demand so it is a seller’s market right now. I was impressed with the construction management proposal and timeline as well.
Ultimately we did not decide to install a pool at all, and will use the same space to create a lush garden sanctuary. This was a decision based on deep consideration of our stage in life and what we truly wanted. However, I have great confidence that Hearthstone Luxury pools could do a great job, and I would certainly contact them in the future if my circumstances changed.

Our original pool company did a very poor job. Brad and his team did an excellent job redesigning our pool and outdoor living area. Excellent design and work quality! I wish we would have used them for the original project! I highly recommend there work and wish we would have used them originally.
